Why do we need to worry about culture in IR? How should the US adjust it’s foreign policy in light of your answer?

The premise of the paper needs to acknowledge the role of globalization in increasing our interactions with other cultures, and although the likes of Samuel Huntington predict a clash of civilization, cultural integration could be beneficial depending on how we (i.e. the US government in this case) responds to it.
