What is the relationship between a football strikers weekly wage and the amount of goals he scores

Paper details:

The main objective of this investigation was to find 15 different football strikers who play for different clubs and finding the relationship between the amount of goals they score and their weekly wages. To do this, I used the 2014/15 season which is the season that recently ended and I chose 15 different football strikers from different clubs and formed a table. The table included the players name, weekly wage, games played, goals scored, and average goal per game.

I WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH THE TABLE

I would like you to do the following:

1. Add formulas to relate to the table

2. Find the mean, median, mode and put in a table/graph

3. Box and whisker plot and relate it back to the investigation

4. Null hypothesis and relate it back to the investigation

5. Correlation coefficient table including formulas and relate it back to the player wages vs amount of goals they score (investigation)

To begin with, the decision is becoming a football player has to be early at age. If your not a good footballed by the age of 17 or 18 then chances are you will not have the career of a successful player. It took Messi 16 years to become the player he is today. Ronaldo played football as a kid and this is what made him the player he is today. Wage wise, only top clubs could afford high wages which means that if you want to earn tons of money like Messi or Ronaldo, you have to be a good player to play for clubs like Real Madrid, Chelsea, Paris Saint Germain, and other rich football clubs. Football is like a brand, the more you bring good players, the more they score, the more you win, the more you make money.

Hypothesis:
H0 null hypothesis: The average amount of goals scored per game is independent to the players weekly wage.

H1 alternative hypothesis: The average amount of goals scored per game is not independent to the players weekly wage.

Plan of investigation: The data collected for this internal assessment was gathered from secondary sources and the data only contains football attackers to keep it fair. There will be 15 attackers taken from different football leagues around the world. I will state the players name, weekly wage in Euros, games played during the season (14/15), goals scored, and average goals scored per game.
