1. Find any fragments in your essay, and change them to complete and interesting sentences.
2. If you do not have any fragments, continue to try to add details or delete details on your word court.
3. Your lead should be evident.
4.Change all forms of “you” to a better word.
5.Check capitalization.
6. Take out all of the following verb: get, got, getting, etc……
7. Replace them with more interesting verbs.
8. Make sure no two consecutive sentences start with the same word, unless you are doing it on purpose because you are using anaphora.
9.Spell out numbers 1-100 unless they are dates or times.
10. Make sure you have 5 similes in your paper
