Minimally, each submission should be at least 1 pages in length, typed. The précis should contain a short summary of the reading and a discussion of your thoughts about the reading. What is the author saying to you? If you were in conversation with the author, how might you reply, be involved? Be sensitive to what the author is trying to communicate? What is proposed in the text and how? What are the main arguments relied on, and how are these backed up? Finally, are the ideas compelling from your perspective? And what are the implications of these ideas. (It should be clear from your work that you read the complete article.) Include in your précis at least one question that you that you will prepared to ask if called on to do so in class
