Research paper

A four star hotel Central Otago Resort is going to open in October 2016 at the top of the Shortover Street, Queenstown (New Zealand) with 202 rooms. The hotel is owned by local farmers mutual fund, and not registered under any international hotel franchising system. The CEO is stressed out and worrying about if they could provide up to standard services to international visitors and keep ranking high in the online hotel booking apps. The hotel employed a group of team managers with rich industry experiences, as well as research skills in hospitality industry. The CEO turned to functional managers for help and requesting research report on how the hotel can improve their overall performance based on the performance of functional group through awareness and understanding of international visitors culture and providing services that fit the needs of the international customers and tailor their services according to the habits and customs of culture group. The CEO has done initial research and decided to cover Germany, which is significant in terms of international visitors arrival and potential emerging market that tourism New Zealand emphases in researching and promoting offshore. The core of this research project is around customer satisfaction upon their experience at the hotel.
