Public Health/Survey of Public health
Order Description
Have gun laws in the United States become a major health concern and problem in the United States? As discussed in class the Second Amendment of the Bill of Rights states that: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed. The U.S. Constitution protects the right of an individual to keep and bear arms. Forty-four states also have laws granting that Constitution right to their constituents.
Considering the slaughter and bloodshed caused by guns over the past eight years, What are your views and strategy as a public health practitioner for controlling the sale and ownership of guns in America? Please right about the requirement to get a gun in the city of Washington D.C. and the homicide rate in the city. No more than 1000 words. Do some research and put forth some good ideas.
