You will support or refute Campbell’s statement, using your research of mythologies of your choice to make your point.

After completing this week’s readings (attached), create a post of your general thoughts and reactions. Answer at least 4 of the following 6 questions in your response:
In what significant way does the myth of Yin and Yang differ from the myth of Nu Kua?
How does the myth of Yin and Yang present the relationship between divinity and human beings?
Why did the original tellers of the Nu Kua myth have her create human beings using two different methods? What might this have explained for them?
The gods are not present in the myth of “Chi Li Slays the Serpent.” Why do you think they are absent in this myth? What might that mean, and how might their influence still be present in the story?
Why is it so important to the gods that Amaterasu shines the light of the sun down on human crops? In other words, why do they care?
Why does Amaterasu permit Susano-o-no-Mikoto to visit her, and why does she not immediately banish him when he misbehaves?
