History – Constitutional Convention at Philadelphia in 1787

1) Identify and describe the key players and their positions. What did they each want to achieve at the convention?  Who were the chief architects of the Constitution?  Be certain to discuss James Madison and Alexander Hamilton.

7) What challenges did the Framers of the Constitution face?  Explain the importance of the Federalist Papers.
8) Describe what is meant by “originalism” (hint: this is in reference to interpreting the Constitution).
9)  What new and surprising things did you learn after watching these videos?
10) What was Jack Rakove going to use his Pulitzer Prize money for?
