The essay question is the following: Describe how the historical perspectives on emotions have informed more modern approaches to defining and understanding emotions. Hereby, please refer to the documents I attached. In particular, consider the “emotion” slides in detail and follow the instructions of “rules for writing your essays and reports”. The structure of the essay should include a detailed definition of emotion (e.g.,how do we understand emotion?), a comparison of emotion vs. mood, early historical perspectives on emotions, leading to modern approaches/ perspectives on emotion (including evolutionary, biological, cognitive, social construction perspective). The essay should be round off by a summary and a clear detailed conclusion. Please use as many references for evidence as possible. First Class Standard please!
