Abstract
For so many years, refugees have suffered many challenges fleeing persecution in their home country. Yet regardless of western meddling in developing countries, the growing anti-Muslim and anti-immigration sentiments in Europe and the United States, has led to this continued growth in the refugee crisis. Consequently, this rise in anti-Muslim and immigration sentiments will lead to an increased recruitment of insurgents by ISIS, and the rise of religious radicalism and ‘negative’ Salafism in the country.
