Every day, we hear about news, changes, and trends in the business world. While these events may be important, their impact is often undervalued or misunderstood, constricted by the lack of information available to the public or misinformation by the press. While business experts, scholars, and the media provide tidbits via commentary, the true scope of an issue cannot be had without further investigation.

The purpose of your research paper is to identify a current business topic and craft a 7-8 page research report that makes an argument from your point of view, based on sound and credible research. You should aim for a project topic that is unique and interesting to the business layperson. You should also provide a thorough, well-researched examination of your topic from your selected approach.

To help you manage your project successfully, the project is broken into separate assignments, due throughout the course. Most of these assignment parts will be included in your final document, so your careful completion of each part, on time, will help to assure your success.
