Many historians have noted how indebted Roman architecture was to Greek architecture. After pointing out some of the features The Romans adapted from the Greeks, discuss the ways in which Roman architects changed those features to suit their own purposes. Beyond that, discuss the ways in which Roman architects and designers innovated. What do these architectural characteristics tell us about Roman culture as it compares to Greek culture?
