For this paper you will use August Wilsons play, Fences, as your primary text. many of the plays themes deal with family/parental influence, freedom(personal/social), love, etc. Your goal is to seek ways of understanding ONE of the themes or major conflicts in the play and to explain how the writer attempts to explore and/or resolve the issue.
