3. Consider the assignment on page 91. Watch three news sources on television or online. Identify the sources. Tell what issues/news stories they believe are important. Discuss any similarities or differences. Be sure to explain how you reached this particular decision as to why being on the agenda or not impacts the policy’s possible outcomes.

4. As per page 91 in the text, consider the president’s budget priorities. Give a brief description of them and discuss if they surprise you or they are what you expected to find. Tell why. Also, if you want to discuss state level budgeting priorities that is fine. The main thing is to discuss what is on the agenda for the president or governor. Be sure to indicate if this is a surprise to you, then tell why or why not. Why do you think this is a priority with the governor or the president?
