    A brief summary of the narrative

    Why did the author write this book?

    What was the authors point of view?

    What is the author trying to tell the reader and convince the read about?

    Did the author succeed? What was convincing in the book? What did you feel was not convincing?

    How is this book related to the historical period?

    Did this book add to your understanding of the historical period? How or why not?

    What did you like about the book? What didnt you like about the book?

    In total, would you recommend this book? Why or why not?
