The story of your life

There is no need to read the whole story.

In Ted Chiang’s short story, “Story of Your Life,” the narrator’s encounter with the aliens in orbit reveal how our language and physical bodies affect how we experience reality. By learning to think like the heptapods, her perspective on reality changes, allowing her to connect to her deceased daughter.
