Commentary Selection
After determining the definitive biblical text for your topic, youll want to select a quality commentary.

First read the two following articles to inform your commentary selection:
How to Choose a Bible Commentary
How to Use Bible Commentaries
Then review the selection of online commentary sets provided in the Biblical Studies and Theology Subject Guide available through the library. (Note: While you are not limited to those provided by the library, the library does provide free digital access to a wide collection of commentaries.)
Select two commentaries on the book of the Bible containing your Definitive Text for your selected topic.
Click on the Commentary Selection link and post the following information: (Edit the existing wiki page — do not create a new page.)
Scripture reference of your Definitive Text.
APA references to the commentaries you selected.
A brief rationale for the selection of your commentaries based on the assigned articles.
Your final paper due in Session 5 must be supported by three commentaries. In addition to the two that you have selected for this assignment, use the information posted by your classmates to help locate a third quality commentary.
