I would like you to choose an hour long “news” program. It can be mainstream media, social media, independent, or even public; it is completely your choice.

While watching for the hour, I would like you to analyze what you are seeing and hearing, identify what is being said/not being said, and apply the topics covered thus far in the class.

I’m not looking for a full on paper but I want to see your ability to apply what we have covered in the class to a specific activity.

Provide a summary of the program to give basis and perspective for the reader. Then work through and apply the topics from the text that you were able to identify.

**2 pages should cover it as this is just an exercise in application and not a full blown analysis/research paper.
