The current political climate involves a more widespread enforcement of deportation regulations and lifting of DACA protections.  How can teachers and counselors address some of the challenges created by new enforcement activities faced by undocumented immigrant students, documented students, “dreamers” and all students, parents, teachers, counselors and principals.  In your discussion, also consider the issues facing teachers and counselors, and other professionals working with immigrant students TODAY in view of the enforcement of deportation of undocumented persons.
