Bilingual and ESL educators play an active role in the implementation of multicultural education. Using the “five dimensions of multicultural education” identified by Banks and Banks (1995) as a point of departure, along with resources on racism and bias towards minoritized in society, prepare a brief action plan for implementing the various dimensions within a multicultural and “anti-racist” school community or classroom.
