The three theological statements due this week will become part of the material you present as your research paper next week, so this assignment is a head start on finishing your research paper (1500-1800 words); between this assignment and your rough draft, you will have much of your research paper completed before you enter week 7.  This will allow you next week to spend time editing your document for grammar, spelling, Turabian form, and general flow of the paper.  Do pay attention to the feedback I will have given you by now on your Research Paper Draft.

The student will write a 2,4002,700-word research-based paper in current Turabian format. The paper will focus on the importance of biblical theology and how it strengthens the Christians ability to articulate key doctrinal beliefs. The student must incorporate content from the Theological Statement assignment. The paper must include at least 10 references including the course textbooks. The paper must rely on biblical texts, but the Bible does not count as one of the 10 references and must not be listed in the bibliography.
