Overview: The purpose of this assignment is to explore how the products that people use influence our perceptions of them.

Prompt: Choose a product youve seen several individuals use that you think says something about who they are as people. You can also choose a product or
brand you use that you think says something about you. Then, write a short paper.

Specifically, the following critical elements must be addressed:

Introduction: In three to four sentences, briefly describe the product or brand youve chosen and explain why youve chosen it.

Exploring Perception: Explain your initial impression of individuals who use this product or brand.

Elements of Perception: Consider some of the elements of perception that were discussed in your Module Two readings. What principles, concepts,
or theories illustrate your perception or further explain your impression?

Real-World Relevancy: How is an awareness of your perception likely to make you more careful about jumping to conclusions?

Guidelines for Submission: Your short paper must be submitted as a Microsoft Word document and should not be more than 1 page in length. Use double
spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins. Any sources should be cited using a discipline-appropriate citation method.
