Length and format: Requires an introductory paragraph and a concluding paragraph, plus three arguments. Each argument should take up a minimum of one paragraph. Times New Roman. 12 Point Font. Double space.
Tone: Formal. This is a formal literary essay, so no contractions or slang. Use literary language. Point of view should be third person.
Tense: Always use present tense when discussing literature. See video shown in class.
Organization: This is a traditional literary essay, and as such it requires an introductory paragraph and a concluding paragraph, plus three arguments.
