Simulation #3 will now take the form of a research paper on the previously assigned hegemony topic. Students may opt to complete this assignment as a group project (4 student maximum) or as an individual project. Successful papers will include the following:

  A) An identification and explanation of your choice of the most serious threat to American hegemony;

  B) The arguments which led to your choice of the most serious threat to American hegemony and the evidence (along with source citations) that support your choice;

  C) A discussion of the course of action you recommend which, if adopted, would allow America to avoid the discussed loss of hegemony
