Read through the whole draft quickly. Dont worry about commenting on sentence level
issues. At the bottom of the draft answer the following questions as thoroughly as you can.
1. Consider the parts of the essay where the author described concrete experiences.
Which part was most successful? Why? What needed work and why?
2. Consider the parts of the essay where the author engaged in reflective observation.
Was it sufficient? Was it well integrated into the paper?
3. Consider the parts of the essay where the author engaged in abstract
conceptualization. These would be places where the author clearly makes a plan for
how to proceed or states what their changed perspective is and how they will act on it.
Is the author clear? Make suggestions for improvement.
4. Consider the parts of the essay where the author engages in active experimentation.
Is there sufficient evidence of the author trying out their new approach or changing
their mode of thinking or behavior? Comment on where this works best and on what
still needs work.
DO NOT CROSS OFF SENTENCES BUT MAKE COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS
