Your assignment is to begin the process of designing your own political psychology experiment. Your assignment should include:

    (1) A brief description and motivation of what your experiment is about

    (2) A clear, specific research question (or questions)

    (3) A clear description of the treatments you wish to employ (at least two), along with a clear description of the tasks subjects will be asked to perform (and in what order)

    (4) A description of how you will measure your outcome variable

    (5) A description of the subject pool you propose to use

    (6) Mention at least one potential shortcoming of your experimental design.

Can refer to the slides on Ted Brader’s study of scary and enthusiastic music in political ads, and should structure your paper by explicitly breaking it into sections corresponding to these bullet-point items.
