Support for the thesis is effective throughout. Refutation (where relevant) is clearly explained and well-developed. Sources are synthesized using quotation, summary and paraphrase. All APA in-text citations, signal phrases and reference lists are well organized, and not over-used. Text meets the length requirement.

ORGANIZATION:
Ideas are sequenced in a logical order throughout. Headings, sections, paragraphs, thesis statements, statement of purpose and topic sentences (where relevant) are used effectively to organize the text. There is effective and accurate use of lexical cohesion and connectors.

STYLE & TONE: A wide range of compound and complex sentences, and simple and complex phrases have been used. There are no fragments or run-ons. Tone and style appropriate throughout. There is an extensive range of appropriate vocabulary

CORRECTNESS:The paper contains only very occasional errors in punctuation, spelling, grammar or capitalization. The paper shows evidence of careful proof-reading.
