Instructions:
1.  Choose a health issue that affects population health such as HIV/AIDS or cancer.  Identify the disease in the 1st line of your report.  Briefly explain the symptoms of the disease.  PLEASE WRITE ON ASTHMA!!!

2.  Use the BIG GEMS framework to explain the social determinants of the disease.

3.  What role has public health played in controlling or failing to control the disease.

4.  Type a one- to two page report and include the references in APA format.  The report should be double spaced, using Times New Roman 12 pt font and save as a Word document.
