Causality. Does quantum mechanics support a particular account of causation? (1500 Word Limit)

Readings. You should draw on either Norton (2003) or Salmon (1980) as a concrete account of causation. For example, you could argue that quantum mechanics does/does not support Norton’s view of causation as folk science, or that QM does/does not support a probabilistic view of causation.

Background. A central topic of your discussion should be the notion of a superposition and the probabilistic predictions of quantum mechanics, so be sure to give at least a brief overview of how this works (although you will not have space to recapitulate the entire theory).
