If they have a written policy or process, ask for a copy. Describe the process and compare it with the process described in our course. Be sure to include both compensable factors and external equity in your analysis. Make your comments and recommendations. Total length for this item should be one to two pages, double spaced.

They may be reluctant to give you precise figures on the salary range but should at least give you an idea about starting pay. You should also be able to get information about employee benefits. Find another organization with the same or very similar position. Find and list the salary range or approximate starting pay for that position. Does this comparison demonstrate external equity?

Compare and contrast the benefits at both organizations.

Based on your analysis, are monetary rewards a factor when comparing the two organizations? If an individual were recruited by both organizations would the wage and benefit package influence the choice of where to work? Please explain and justify your conclusion.
